Demise Of The Crown release single and video

Montreal’s Demise Of The Crown have released a new single entitled Black Rain.

You can watch it here:

The new single was mixed and mastered by Cryptopsy six-stringer, Chris Donaldson, following up on the band’s self-titled debut album which was released in March.  If you want to give the album a spin, head over to Demise Of The Crown’s Bandcamp page.

For those of us who aren’t in the know about these guys, Canadian Metal band Demise Of The Crown can really only be classified as “Metal“.  They began as Prog Metal, but through time (and slogging through their local Montreal scene), they evolved into a what can really only be described as a Heavy Metal band, with elements of Death Metal, Power Metal, shredding and some catchy bits to bring in the casual listener.

The current line-up, lead by Manuel Iradian (guitar), Kevin “Kevy Metal” (drums) and Darren Beadman (vocals) finally came together in 2014.  Influenced by headliners like Nevermore, Avenged Sevenfold, Opeth, Pantera, and Faith No More, they have performed with bands like Hellyeah, Devin Townsend Project, 3 Inches Of Blood, Katatonia and Firewind.
