* Any time Carl mentions one of the regular features - take a drink. That's the Spotlight, Shock Of The New, Connection, Nights Out Guide, Lie Back And Enjoy It... and I'm sure there was one other in the early days? Take a drink if a competition is mentioned.

* If the Connection answer is announced - take a drink. If nobody identified it - finish your drink!

* Any time Carl mentions one of his favourite bands - take a drink. In other words: The Wildhearts, Battlelore, Benedictum, Spit Like This, Asomvel and Motörhead. This list may expand!

* If a track by any of these bands is played - finish your drink! This could get very messy if one of these is a Spotlight band, and several of them have been...

* If Carl describes anything or anyone as "mighty" - take a drink.

* If it's one of Carl's favourite bands that has been described as "mighty" - finish your drink!

* If it's you that has been described as "mighty" - then finish two drinks!

Think that last one's beyond the realms of possibility? In the middle of WWRS XLVIII, I had to finish two drinks.
